Garbage frontwomanShirley Manson is back lending her soothing vocals to this sort of haunting new single "The Hunger." I've been missing Shirley, so it's nice to throw her back into my rotation.
Manson gets together with Serj Tankian of System of a Down, who composed music for the rock musical Prometheus Bound which is currently running at the Oberon in Cambridge, Mass. Take a listen.

If you listen up, you'll find this mix crossing into her usual ways.... a fresh, dizzying electro party! Be invigorated!
My Chemical Romance is back with new stuff, but it's not what we're used to hearing. Gone is that sad, gloomy goth that resonated through frontman Gerald's anguised body. Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys the new album is fiery red hot just like Gerald's new hair. It's synthrock at it's finest.

Jay Cutler, the Chicago Bears "franchise" quarterback...... not this wrestler, GROSS
is so hard to figure out, why waste our time.
Cutler has had his share of ups -n-downs last season and this. He's got a bad reputation, he pouts, he throws interceptions, spends alot of time on his back (not entirely his fault), BUT also has a gun for an arm, can scramble a bit, plays with diabetes (that's toughness), and he DOES smile occasionally showing us that he maybe does care justa little bit. Does the bad outweigh the good? Or vice versa?
Entering his first playoff game, it's any given Sunday, which means we might just see any given Jay out there.

Dark & Powerful is the only way I can describe this psychological thriller. Natalie Portman has always been one of my favorite actresses and she doesn't disappoint! Like a G6, she blew up in this role. Mila Kunis, also a fav, was delightfully twisted as well. The movie struck a cord, mainly because of the emphasis on control. I, myself, have always struggled with control.....so much so, I even had the damn word inked on my neck as reminder to "let go" and "live a little." This was a reminder again that you can be on the highest possible stage but the secret of success is learning how to use pain instead of it using you. On that note, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this masterpiece.
